Apple picking

We are enjoying the beautiful weather this fall.  We have to get as much in as possible before the winter comes.

Connor and Barry went apple picking and pumpkin picking with Carson, Riley, Aunt Diana, Uncle Adam, Grandma and Grandpa.  Mommy stayed home with Aiden since he was still too new to go out. This is one of our favorite family outings in the fall. Next year, we will get to enjoy this activity as a family of 4.

Connor had a great time picking apples and he always had to have more than 1 apple in his and at all times.  What a silly boy!  He ate and picked his way through the orchard.

More newborn pictures

Before Aiden was born I contacted a very talented photographer to take some newborn pictures of Aiden.  We took Aident to her studio when he was 10 days old and she was amazing and the  pictures are awesome.  Aiden did great and he slept like a champ for his pictures.  I am absolutely head over heals in love with this little guy and his big brother!!

We got newborn pictures of Aiden taken at the hospital and they came out so cute! I love that they offer this service at the hospital.  What a great way to remember your little one just a day or two old!

Aiden was 2 days old when they took these pictures. He is so very precious!!!

Best buds

Connor loves his brother Aiden so much.  It is so speacial to see the bond between them.  As they grow older it will be so much fun watching them become best of friends.  Connor is always looking out for Aiden.  He is always wanting to help with everything and make sure he is okay all the time.  He is adjusting very well to being a big brother and he is loving every minute of it!

Aiden is 1 month

Time is flying by and I cannot believe that Aiden is 1 month old.  He is still a really good baby.  He is very easy going and a joy to be around.  He is still so very cuddly and I just cannot get enough of him.  He is sleeping pretty well at night most of the time too.  He is getting stronger and stronger every day.  He is able to lift his head pretty good during tummy time and is starting to stay awake for longer periods of time.  It is nice to see his big blue (for now) eyes :)

He is eating well too.  He is up to 4 ounces of formula every 3-4 hours during the day.

I took Aiden to his 1 month doctor's appointment and he did great!  He did not cry at all and he is definitely gaining weight and growing like a champ!

His stats were:

Height: 21.75"
Weight: 9 pounds 6 ounces

We go back to the doctor for this 2 month check up and his first round of shots.   :(

Connor the soccer star

We signed Connor up for soccer through the park district.  He loves it and it is so fun to watch.  I had to miss the first 2 classes since I just had Aiden and couldn't really get out of the house.  I was able to make it to his 3rd class and he was so adorable.  Carson is also in his class and it is so fun to watch these 2 boys learn to play the sport.
